My Artistic Footprint thus far…
Maqks’s work is centered around themes of tenderness, strangeness, humor and tragedy. These archetypes provide an entry point for audience and artist alike to explore the deeper sensations of what it is to be human.

“Feast”
This piece that premiered in May of 2024, is at times both serious, unserious, humorous, gentle, and strong this work is an absurdist look at the twisted relationship between majesty and decay. Though they may seem opposites at first glance they work in conjunction more often than one might think. As you watch our piece we ask that you stay true to yourself: if you find something funny, laugh, if you hate something, boo, but whatever you do, don’t feel nothing.
